About Paul McCartney Tribute Show

After having had the honour of working with many musical celebrities from the 60s, 70s , 80s, 90s and the Millennium, I decided to pay a musical/lookalike tribute to the most outstanding, influential and innovative musical songwriter and legendary performer of all our generations- Sir Paul McCartney.

Paul McCartney (Aka Macca to his legions of fans) along with The Beatles, was THE most major influence in popular music during the 1960s and beyond. Transforming culture, fashion and social changes back in the 60s, with hits like ‘All My Loving, Can’t Buy Me Love, Paperback Writer, Hey Jude, Get Back’ and so many more. Back in the 70s, it was Macca’s Wings who led the way with their definitive blend of quintessential Pop/Rock with platinum selling albums and popular anthems such as ‘Band On The Run, With A Little Love and the explosive Bond Movie theme ‘Live And Let Die’, along with their world breaking box office tour in the mid-70s.

The 80s were a time of change and experimentation for Macca, who released his second solo album ‘McCartney II’ featuring the hit ‘Comin’ Up’, to working with musical icon Michael Jackson, co-writing and featuring in the song ‘The Girl Is Mine’ on the best-selling album of All-time – Thriller, Stevie Wonder and later Michael Jackson again with the best-selling USA single – ‘Say, Say, Say’, to name a few. He also took up film directing and acted the leading role in his critically-acclaimed movie ‘Give My Regards To Broad St’. Which featured the million selling 1984 hit ‘No More Lonely Nights’. Then followed the million selling spoof spy theme for ‘Spies Like Us’, and later 1989, with his collaborating songwriter Elvis Costello on the excellent album ‘Flowers In The Dirt’ he was still very much a force to be reckoned with in the world of music and remains so to this day with his consistent albums and sell-out tours throughout the globe.
