Indian Traditional Music Group focuses primarily on authentic North Indian Classical and Traditional Music. They also perform semi classical Indian music with influence of folk music from certain parts of India. All three musicians have the credit of performing internationally (as solo as well as group artists) and extensively, countries like India, USA, Europe, Uzbekistan, Afghanistan, Pakistan, China, etc..

About Indian Traditional Music Group
Indian Traditional Music Group was formed in the year 2013 when husband wife duo musicians Sayak Barua and Moumita Mitra collaborated with their Indian percussion musician friend Madhurjya Ranjan Barthakur. They successfully toured in India and other countries as Traditional Indian Music performing group. Moumita Mitra is the vocalist, Sayak Barua plays Sarode (a traditional and classical Indian string instrument), while Madhurjya Ranjan Barthakur plays Indian percussion Tabla. All three musicians Sayak, Moumita & Madhurjya, are empanelled artists of ICCR (Indian Council for Cultural Relations) and Graded artists of All India Radio.

They were invited by the Afghanistan National Institute of Music, Kabul, to teach students as Guest teachers for about a month. They also performed together at The French Institute and Indian Embassy, Kabul. They also performed on Amsterdam and Rotterdam Cruises by Holland America Line as on Location Indian Troupe to represent Indian culture.
